MUAR: A mobile vaccination bus or MOVAK unit enabled some 700 people from around Bukit Pasir here to receive their Covid-19 vaccines recently.

The bus was parked for two days at the SMK Bukit Pasir.

"Many people from the Sungai Raya and Sungai Terap sub-districts had registered for vaccination so the bus was sent to facilitate the exercise," said Janariah Abu Nawan, chairman of Suri Prihatin Pagoh, who was present with 30 volunteers from the non-governmental association.

"I received my notice via MySejahtera. I am glad the mobile unit is available. Not many of us have transportation to go to other vaccination centres," said Tan Teo Ping, a resident of Bukit Pasir
