MUAR: Taxi drivers here whose livelihoods were affected by movement controls received aid recently.
Bukit Pasir assemblyman Najib Lep together with the Johor Khidmat Malaysia Committee contributed food supplies to taxi drivers at the Bentayan, Muar taxi station.
"With almost no passengers, the income of taxi drivers have been badly affected. These supplies can hopefully help them a little," said Najib.
The Johor Khidmat Malaysia Committee members Khairul Afizi Mohd Kamil and Sanusi Mat Yah had brought up the plight of taxi drivers to Najib.
They will also be assisting taxi drivers in the Pagoh and Bakri areas.
