KUALA LUMPUR: Water supply to 121 areas in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling, and Hulu Langat has been disrupted since 1pm today due to a burst pipe from sewerage pipe installation works at Jalan Sering, Taman Sungai Sering, Cheras.

Selangor Water Management (Air Selangor) is carrying out emergency works to repair the broken pipe.

"Repairs are expected to be completed by 3am (Jan 9) and water supply will resume thereafter. However, supply recovery time will vary from one area to another depending on the location," said Air Selangor in a statement today.

Consumers are advised to use water prudently during the unscheduled water disruption period.

Air Selangor said consumers can refer to the Air Selangor website at www.airselangor.com for the list of areas affected and to get the latest update.

Consumers can also refer to their official communication channels such as the Air Selangor application, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, or contact the Air Selangor Contact Centre at 15300.
