In Besut, 53 people from 12 families are being housed at one relief centre.

Terengganu Disaster Management Committee secretariat Chief Lieutenant Colonel (PA) Che Adam A Rahman said interior regions of the state are still receiving intermittent rain.

"However, water levels of major rivers in the interior have subsided. But we are still on alert, as we expect rivers to inundate low-lying areas downstream," he said.
