KUALA LUMPUR: Vehicle owners who fill up their tanks with RON95 and RON97 petrol will enjoy cheaper fuel throughout the coming week, starting from midnight.
The Finance Ministry said from tomorrow (Sept 12) to Sept 18, the retail pump price for both petrol grades would be 5 sen cheaper, with RON95 to be sold at RM1.66 per litre compared to RM1.71 per litre previously and RON 97 will go for RM1.96 per litre (RM2.01 per litre previously).
It added retail price for diesel price would be less by 6 sen from RM1.78 per litre to RM1.72.
"The Government will continue to monitor the trends of global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the continued welfare and well-being of the people," the ministry said.
