PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad today confirmed to members of the press that the names of the full Cabinet list have been finalised.
Speaking at a Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) press conference held at Menara Yayasan Selangor, here, today, the prime minister however did not give a date on when the names would be announced.
Asked when the names would be announced, Dr Mahathir who is also PPBM chairman said 'when they have been sworn (in)'.
He said that the swearing-in ceremony would be held soon, when the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong was available.
Earlier today in an interview with Channel NewsAsia (CNA), the prime minister said he had submitted the name list for Pakatan Harapan's full Cabinet to the King.
In saying that, he denied behind the scene squabbling was the reason why the full Cabinet has yet to be announced.
The full Cabinet is expected to be made up of 29 ministers, Dr Mahathir had told CNA.
