LANGKAWI: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak arrived in Langkawi this afternoon for a two-day work visit.

Accompanied by his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, Najib kicked off his programmes in the Kedah's tourism island by attending a casual "teh tarik" gathering with the Indian community at Dewan MIC Kg Kisap.

Later, Najib will be joining the Chinese community for dinner, in conjunction with the Chinese New Year, at Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC).

Tomorrow, Najib is scheduled to officiate the "Karnival Go I Am Usahawan 4.0 Langkawi" organised by the Malaysian Malay Chambers of Commerce (DPMM) at Langkawi Development Authority (Lada) Complex at noon.

Later in the evening, he is scheduled to attend a casual gathering with fishermen in Kuala Chenang jetty and launched the Tenaga Nasional Bhd's street light project at the village, to conclude his visit here.
