BANDAR SRI JEMPOL: A Thai woman was reunited with her four-year-old son who was taken away from their home in Pattani two years ago.
The boy was handed over to his mother, Alice Jarong, 28, at about 11pm last night by a friend of the woman who took the boy away from Thailand.
Alica claimed the woman who used to work at her mother’s restaurant had taken her son away to Johor. A police report was also lodged.
“With help from the woman’s friend I managed to get my son back. We will return to Thailand on Jan 4,” she said.
“I am grateful for all those who helped in getting my son back to me.”
