KUALA LUMPUR: Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah, who was reported missing after allegedly delivering a rental car last Wednesday, was found dead near Felda Gedangsa in Hulu Selangor today.

The 25-year-old victim's body was discovered about 6pm, believed to be murdered by a known assailant.

Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan when contacted confirmed the discovery of her remains.

"We have made arrests related to this case. Investigations are being carried out under Section 302 of the Penal Code (for murder)," he said.

Hussein in a statement later said police arrested a local man aged 26, who is a civil servant.

It was reported that the victim had gone missing after delivering a rental car to a customer.

A missing persons report was lodged on July 1o at 1.56pm.

Nur Farah, from Sarawak, was a former student of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI).

She was last seen wearing blue corporate attire, a headscarf, and black slacks.

A colleague of hers had made a heartfelt plea for the young woman to return home to her family.
