JOHOR BARU: The decomposed body of a 33-year-old project engineer, reported missing since May 18, was discovered in his car parked in front of a row of shoplots in Taman Pelangi, here, today.

Police found the decomposed body of the man in his car at 11am.

Johor Baru (South) police chief Assistant Commissioner Raub Selamat said a postmortem to identify the cause of death is ongoing at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital.

Police do not suspect foul-play in his death.

The deceased was reported missing by family members after he failed to report for duty and was unreachable since May 18.

The victim's elder brother said he went to his rented room in Taman Desaru Utama in Pengerang, after attempts to locate his whereabouts failed.
