KUALA LUMPUR: A newborn was found dead after he was allegedly thrown off a condominium in Sri Petaling, here today.

Brickfields district police chief, Assistant Commissioner Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood said the Sri Petaling police station had received information regarding a newborn found dead at a condominium at 2.30pm.

"The baby is believed to have been thrown from a high position, resulting in part of its head being shattered.

"The infant still had his umbilical cord attached," he said.

Ku Mashariman investigations were ongoing to identify the parents or individuals involved in the incident.
