KUALA LUMPUR: Two people arrested in connection with the murder of a businessman whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase on April 26 will be charged in court tomorrow.

Kajang police chief Assistant Commisisoner Mohd Zaid Hassan said the duo, both Malaysians, would be charged at the Kajang magistrate's court.

"The investigation papers were sent to the deputy public prosecutor and we received instructions for the two to be charged in court," he said in a statement.

The duo, an e-hailing driver and a friend, are aged 41 and 22.

Zaid said the two will be charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code for further, read together with Section 34 of the same code.

The body of the businessman was found in a suitcase, with his hands tied, in a 27m-deep ravine in Hulu Langat.

The victim, in his 40s, had ligature marks on his neck indicating that he may have been strangled to death with a cable.

Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan had said the discovery was made after several people had been arrested following a missing person report lodged by the victim's housemate on April 26.
