SANDAKAN : Police are still looking for a man who is part of four-member gang involved in an armed robbery here.

On Oct 6, about 1155pm, a 47-year-old man was shot in the abdomen at Bandar Ramai Ramai when he returned home.

State Police Commissioner Datuk Ramli Din said police found a spent shell at the crime scene.

"A week after the robbery , two locals aged 39 and a Filipino aged 33 were arrested. We are still tracking the fourth man known as "Martin", a foreigner in his 30s," he said at a press conference here.

The trio have been remanded for further investigation.

Police also have seized 32 items including Colt 45 pistol, magazine and two round of ammunition, a car and cash worth RM15,000 in local and Philippines currencies.

Also present were district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Azhar Hamin and Kinabatangan police chief Superintendent A Sahak Rahmat.
