KULIM: A lorry rammed into five cars today at a busy traffic intersection today causing a massive jam.
A Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the lorry driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into one of the cars at Jalan Desa in the 12.20pm incident.
“The initial collision led to the pile-up injuring four people in the cars.
“They were rushed to a nearby hospital before fire engines arrived at the scene,” he said.
Traffic flow was reduced to a crawl for about an hour before the tow trucks arrived.
After the cars were towed away, the local council took about half an hour to clear the debris at the scene.
