The timeless appeal of Tsai Chin comes to the fore whenever the singer takes the stage and it should be no different at her concert at Resorts World Genting on Oct 22.
To be held at the Arena Of Stars at 8.30pm, Tsai Chin Concert Live in Genting 2016 will showcase songs her fans have come to love.
The pop and folk singer from Taiwan sings in Mandarin and Hokkien; her claim to fame are her rich, emotive vocals and the fact that she is an affable and witty individual.
Tsai Chin reached the peak of her popularity in Taiwan in the late 1970s and remained so till the mid-1990s.
Today, she still enjoys popularity especially in mainland China; some of her songs are evergreens, including The Forgotten Time, Just Like Your Tenderness, and The Last Night.
At the 2007 IFPI Hong Kong Album Sales Awards, her albums, Tsai Chin Live 2007 and Golden Voice won the award for Top 10-selling Mandarin Albums of the Year.
