GEORGE TOWN: Answer with facts, not anger with regards to Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng's bungalow issue, Penang Umno said today.
State Umno liaison committee chairman Datuk Seri Zainal Abidin Osman said DAP leaders were being unfair by blaming Umno for their leaders' problems.
"They should stop pointing fingers and blaming the Barisan Nasional. Surely it is our fault that Lim's bungalow was sold so cheaply?" he queried.
The former owner of Lim's bungalow has been linked with the sale of a government land downtown. Lim and the owner had denied any wrongdoing.
Zainal told the DAP to be patient while the anti-graft authorities investigate the case.
"I hope that DAP leaders now know what it feels like being in our shoes," he told reporters after chairing the Jelutong Umno division meeting here today.
