KUALA LUMPUR: TGI Friday’s restaurants are featuring “Extreme Tacos” nationwide.
Chaswood Resources managing director Andrew Reddy said TGI Friday’s was continuing its tradition of bringing new flavours to the table with the food promotion.
“Tacos are a wildly flavourful fusion of popular regional American tastes folded into soft flour tortillas,” he said.
Diners can choose from beef, chicken or fish tacos.
The Extreme Buffalo Chicken, are tacos stuffed with super tangy buffalo chicken strips, creamy blue cheese and shredded red cabbage.
The BBQ Burger Tacos feature char-grill barbecued burger topped with crispy beef bacon, melted Colby cheese and lettuce.
The Black and Bleu Burger Tacos offer juicy burger patty sauteed with Cajun blackening spices for an added kick, rolled in a flour tortilla with creamy blue cheese dressing, topped with lettuce and pico de gallo.
For those who want something light, the Tortilla Crusted Fish Tacos is perfect. Filled with crispy tortilla-crusted fish, shredded lettuce, corn salsa and creamy lemon dill remoulade sauce, the tacos are filling and satisfying.
“With a menu of diverse entree salads, pastas, steaks, sandwiches and now Extreme Tacos, we have just the right item for any occasion, whether it be a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner with friends and family,” said Reddy.
Priced at RM26.90++, each taco meal comes with crisp hot fries on the side.
“Pinch of Salt members enjoy the additional treat of a complimentary Mountain Dew or Pitch Black drink with every Extreme Tacos dish order,” he said.
TGI Friday’s signature dishes include the Friday’s Tennessee Burger, New York Strip and Brownie Obsession.
