THE Straits Times Index gained 5.77 points, or 0.17 per cent, to close at 3,305.20 yesterday.
The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index was0.22 per cent higher while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index added 0.40 per cent.
Among top active stocks, SingPost advanced 3.39 per cent, UOB slipped 0.26 per cent, DBS declined 0.06 per cent, SingTel was up 0.52 per cent and CapitaMalls Asia fell 0.42 per cent.
Of the outperforming sectors, FTSE ST Technology Index was up 1.35 per cent. Of its two biggest stocks, Silverlake Axis jumped 1.40 per cent and STATS ChipPAC was unchanged. Agencies
