ALOR STAR: A 16-year old boy drowned today as he was swept away by an undercurrent at Kampung Tembalang, Jalan Kodiang in Kubang Pasu district.
According to the Jitra police head of operations and search party Zulkifli Idrus, the police are currently in the midst of looking for the victim whose body has been swept away.
The incident is believed to have occurred at about 7pm.
