KUALA LUMPUR: Tesla has begun the long-awaited delivery of Model 3 Performance in Malaysia, with over 100 units delivered on Saturday and Sunday combined.
The company said customers took delivery of their Model 3 at Tesla's Cyberjaya Experience Centre, with more deliveries coming.
Building upon the world's best-selling electric sedan Model 3, Model 3 Performance is designed with an updated interior and exterior to unleash performance.
Priced at RM242,000, Model 3 Performance accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.1 seconds and offers up to 528km (WLTP) range per single charge, bringing the driving experience to the next level.
Designed for ultimate track performance, Model 3 Performance is equipped with new front seats with the Performance badge, brand-new and larger rear spoiler, and an all-new adaptive suspension system to enhance the overall driving experience.
Its exterior styling includes the iconic red calipers and the Performance badged rear bumper to distinguish from the current trims of Model 3.
Currently, Tesla has 11 supercharging stations with a total of 52 chargers and 11 destination charging stations which has 57 chargers in Malaysia.
It also has an ongoing expansion to facilitate travel between Malaysia and Singapore, where there are 11 supercharging stations and 11 destination charging stations.
"Tesla is committed to advancing its charging infrastructure in Malaysia to meet the growing demand for Tesla charging solutions," it said.
