SERI KEMBANGAN: Velocity Motor Show is holding its first-ever indoor automotive event at the Mines International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC) over the weekend.
The All About Wheels 2022 (AAW2022), sponsored by Pulzar Lubricant, is a car show with participation from across Asean especially from Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore
Main highlights of the event includes two units of Monster Truck uniquely imported from Thailand and three units live size Lightning McQueen cars from the popular Cars movie, among a range of automotive displays from different sections of the industry, and competitions with prizes to be won.
Velocity Motor Show founder and owner Jason Tan says that they also anticipate that their three key Lightning McQueen centerpieces would draw a younger audience to the event and allow them to see the enormous, well-known movie characters up close.
On top of that, he says that they are also ready to cater to its younger audience by conducting a Push Bike Competition which primarily focuses on kids participating between the age of 2-6.
"We're proud to successfully attract and showcase various overseas car models such as the monster trucks through our prestigious event. We also aim to establish and fortify Velocity Motor Show to be the premier household in Malaysia's Lifestyle Automotive Motor Show industry while stamping a stronghold across the Asian region. We hope to sustain and embrace this venture especially during the Malaysia Day for the years to come at MIECC," said Jason who is impressed with the level of participation in this year's edition.
Attendees will also be greeted with a whole host of other automotive attractions outside catering to children.
At level one the main hall holds the WrapFest (automotive stickers, Vinyl and PPF Film Protection), TunerFest (showcase of big engines, turbos, loud exhaust, JDMs and Contis), AirFest (Air-Suspension cars), 4X4Fest (four wheel drive assemble), and AutoFest (presenting Subaru's latest new Subaru XV SUV model as the official car for the event).
Live music, DJs, tattoo artists, a Hot-Wheels Die-Cast Collectors Market, and BikeFest (a display of two wheels featuring Harley Davidson, Vespa, Aprilia, and Royal Enfield as the official bike) are all part of the excitement in the main hall's upper mezzanine floor.
This three-day event will also feature the first Royal Enfield Bike Show N Shine competition as well as the increasingly trendy and popular E-Bikes.
There's also a Muay Thai showcase on each of the days as well as a major bout which will take place on Saturday at the upper mezzanine floor between 11am – 5pm.
A special promotion unveiling for the new Malay film Remp-it 2 which includes actors like Farid Kamil and Cat Farish will be held on Saturday night of the same floor.
Event tickets can be purchased through walking during the event at the ticketing counter at MIECC between 10am-10pm.
Per day entry price for 13 years old and above is RM30, for 6 to 12 years old is RM15, and free of charge entry fee for 5 years and below.
The event is Velocity Motor Show's fifth exhibition.
