THE Huracan Tecnica, potentially the final naturally aspirated (NA) V10 engine supercar from the "House of the Raging Bull", may just be its most fun yet.

Lamborghini's rear-wheel drive (RWD) supercar is about the pleasure of driving via a balance between lifestyle design and performance.

Call it an ode to the good ol' times before the launch of its first hybrid model next year, with plans to have its entire model range being hybrids by 2024.

It is the culmination of form and function, with its lightweight construction and improved aerodynamics said to have 35 per cent more downforce and 20 per cent less drag than the Huracan Evo RWD.

Loaded with carbon fibre from hood to bonnet, the supercar weighs only 1,379kg and has a power-to-weight ratio of 2.15 kg/PS.

Driver visibility is improved with its new vertical rear glass window. Other design improvements include a new bumper with an optimised air inlet and diffuser, and new hexagonal exhaust pipes.

It has new 20-inch Damiso two-tone alloy wheels with a hexagonal design wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza Sport tyres.

At the heart is the Huracan STO's NA 5.2-litre V10 engine that's mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The powertrain delivers 631hp and 565Nm of torque at 6,500rpm, translating to a top speed of 325kph.

It can sprint from zero to 100kph in just 3.2 seconds, and 9.1 seconds for zero to 200kph.

Drive performance is further fleshed out with the Lamborghini Dinaica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI) centralised control system, torque vectoring, carbon-ceramic brakes with improved cooling, rear-wheel steering, and a retuned suspension.

Its revised Performance Traction Control System offers three different drive modes: Strada Mode for comfort drive, Sport Mode for enhanced performance driving, and the grip-focused Corsa Mode.

The cabin comes with height-adjustable passenger sports seats, a new instrument panel and a vertical centre console screen with real-time display for LDVI functions.

It is also compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa.

Through the Ad Persona programme, customers have access to more than 200 paint options on top of the eight standard ones, as well as more than 20 interior options that include Alcantara and side bolsters embroidery.

No price was given at launch, although current pricing after conversion places it at an estimated RM1.08 million.
