AN unadorned, regular-looking naked bike can become an exceptional café racer with the correct elements and passion injected into it.

And this is the case with the Kawasaki Z750, a fairly great bike that is almost forgotten due to the existence of its more modern and capable successors, the Z800 and the Z900.

The Z750 has undergone some meticulous works by Nuts Wheels, a local company that focuses on custom motorcycle accessories, and is transformed into a modern and pretty uncompromising café racer.

Many considered the stock look of the Z750 outdated compared to the more aesthetically pleasing naked bikes that you can buy today, even though there are little changes in terms of the powertrain.

Nuts Wheels sketched a rough concept of how the bike should be before crafting the custom parts.

Nuts Wheels founder Joash Low, or Joe to his friends, said: "The owner of the Z750 wanted a café racer that looks the part but is also comfortable to ride.

"When the bike arrived, it was in a very sorry shape. It had been partially modified, was incomplete and, unfortunately, had very poor work done to it."

And the end result is the "Alpha Blackout Stallion", which is a culmination of aspiration, passion and craftsmanship.

Nuts Wheels' customised items include plastic headlight cowling with a seven-inch LED headlight, bar end mirrors, specially-formulated paint, exhaust heat wrap and a fibreglass belly pan unit.

On the rear section, the Alpha Black Stallion is fitted with a new leather seat, a reworked subframe unit and a set of new side panels.

The Z750's powertrain, which is a 748cc four-cylinder, four-stroke liquid-cooled engine that makes 106hp at 10,500rpm and 78Nm of torque at 8,300rpm, is retained.

The engine sends its power through a six-speed multi-plate wet clutch and chain drive transmission.

Nuts Wheels has been in the motorcycle custom industry for close to 10 years now.

It has participated in a number of big events such as the Art of Speed and collaborated with Jangan Mati Hanat and The Gasket Alley, among others.
