A culinary celebration of 100 Malay dishes

IN conjunction with the upcoming Ramadan, Oakwood Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur has announced its grand Ramadan Buffet titled "MOH! Berbuka di Oakwood".
According to the hotel, the buffet features 100 traditional and authentic Malay cuisines, including the exquisite Lamb Kabsha.
The buffet promises a symphony of flavours, blending time-honoured recipes with modern culinary techniques, and highlights the diversity and richness of Malaysian cuisine.
"Our 'MOH! Berbuka di Oakwood' Ramadan Buffet is not just a feast for the senses; it's a celebration of culture, tradition, and community," said Ascott Malaysia's country general manager, Mondi Mecja.
"We invite everyone to join us in breaking fast with an array of mouthwatering dishes that showcase the best of Malaysian Malay cuisine," he said.
The highlight of the buffet, the Lebanese Lamb Kabsha, promises to be a culinary masterpiece, offering a unique fusion of flavous that will transport diners to the heart of the Middle East.
The hotel's celebrity chef, Muhamad Zulfikar Ali Mahdi or better known as Chef Z will introduce his own Middle East recipe, with a main highlight of Lebanese Lamb Shank Kabsa.
Chef Z has 24 years' experience ranging from JW Marriott Bukit Bintang, Mandarin Oriental KLCC , G Tower Hotel, 4 Points by Sheraton, Vivatel , Park Inn by Radisson Putrajaya , Berjaya Times Square to current Oakwood Ampang Kuala Lumpur.
He's also been featured in MHI TV3 , Borak Kopitiam TV3, Lawak Boss Boss Astro Prima, PA&MA Astro Warna RIA, and magazines such as Rapi, Rasa and many more.
