KUALA LUMPUR: In a sympathetic response to the MYAirline situation, Batik Air offers special fixed prices on certain flights to aid to affected travellers.
The airline's initiative aims to bring relief to those affected, ensuring that they may continue their journeys smoothly despite the difficult situation.
To take advantage of this offer, impacted passengers are required to attach a copy of their MYAirline tickets when making flight bookings by emailing [email protected].
Batik Air's one-way, all-inclusive special fares are as follows -- Penang: MYR 129; Langkawi: MYR 159; Kuching: MYR 199; Bangkok (Don Muang) and Kota Kinabalu: MYR 299. The travel period for these fares extends up to Nov 30, 2023.
Seats, however, are subject to availability, therefore early booking is recommended.
Batik Air and Lion Group strategy director Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy emphasised the airline's dedication to easing the burden on affected passengers.
As he put it, "With the challenges passengers are currently facing, our aim is to assist passengers so that they can reach their destinations with ease. We're here to support the affected passengers during this time."
