THE National Kidney Foundation Malaysia (NKF) will hold its 5th Renal Nutrition Conference at The Vertical, Connexion Conference and Event Centre at Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur on June 22 and 23.
The conference will be officiated by Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad.
This year's conference themed "Enhancing Renal Nutrition via Interdisciplinary Collaboration" will emphasise the significance of teamwork among healthcare experts to enhance patient care.
It welcomes both local and international participants, with a particular focus on engaging dietitians, nephrologists, physicians, nurses, and pharmacists.
NKF strives to unite individuals sharing common goals, facilitating the exchange of experiences and nurturing future collaborations with the aim of stimulating discussions that generate innovative ideas and approaches for enhancing the care of patients with renal conditions.
The Conference will feature renowned speakers, leading keynote addresses, panel discussions, and workshops exploring recent findings on renal nutrition, developments in renal patient diet management, and the function of nutrition in slowing the progression of kidney disease.
