Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast is going all-out pink this month with a host of activities and promotions to support initiatives related to breast cancer, as part of its Breast Cancer Awareness Month programme.

Its fundraising efforts will support the Hard Rock Heals Foundation, the charitable arm of Hard Rock, with proceeds benefiting the Breast Cancer Support Group Johor Bahru and its efforts to provide affordable silicon breast prosthesis to breast cancer patients and survivors.

Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast general manager Murray Aitken says it's a privilege to bring its guests and community members together through fundraising events that deliver a unifying message of strength, hope and awareness.

Breast Cancer Support Group Johor Bahru president Datin Dr Ho Eu Len says at least 1 in 4 Malaysians are affected by cancer with breast cancer being most common form affecting women.

On Oct 25, the hotel will partner with Breast Cancer Support Group Johor Bahru for a virtual breast cancer awareness sharing session. It will be hosted on Facebook Live from 4.30pm to 5.45pm, with medical professionals, nutritionists and breast cancer survivors.
