KUALA LUMPUR: Popular stand-up comedian Douglas Lim is going to the prestigious Dewan Filharmonik Petronas (DFP), KLCC in November.
In a unique crossover between the country's premier classical music hall and a prolific comedian, DFP will present its first stand-up comedy show with the acclaimed actor and comedian who often leaves his audiences in stitches.
A statement from DFP yesterday said that Lim will take fans through a comedic adventure in a parallel universe that pokes fun and sees everyone laughing at themselves.
"Get ready to enjoy a comedy night right from the concert hall," said the statement.
Lim said: "I'm seriously thinking of recording this as a special, so come and join me at DFP!"
Lim's showcase is DFP Punchline: Douglas Lim One Mic Only, and will begin at 8.30pm on Nov 22.
