KUALA LUMPUR: Controversial Singaporean actor and singer Aliff Aziz said that he was prepared to grant custody of his two children to his wife Bella Astillah.
The 33-year-old artiste who is currently undergoing divorce proceedings which were initiated by singer and actress Bella last March said in an interview with TV3 entertainment programme Melodi yesterday that he would visit his children from time to time based on arrangements with her.
"I'm okay if she gets custody of our children. All that I ask is for the right to visit them as their father," said Aliff.
Aliff said that he would accept any decision made by the Federal Territories Syariah Court when divorce proceedings resume on June 4.
"I admit that I made some serious missteps in life and I am prepared to face the consequences. But my children will always be my children and I will always be their father," he said.
Bella filed for divorce at the court on March 13, five days after Aliff was caught for khalwat with actress Ruhainies Zainul Ilyas at her condominium in the federal capital.
Aliff and Bella were married in 2016 and their children Ayden Adrean and Ara Adreanna are aged 6 and 3 respectively.
