KUALA LUMPUR: The husband of actress Nora Danish, Nedim Nazri, says that his marriage to the popular artiste is still solid.
In a recent live session on Instagram, Nedim was bombarded with questions from followers about his marital status with Nora.
Many expressed sadness at the recent news that there was trouble in paradise for the couple and hoped that their relationship was still good.
"It's nothing, I love my wife. Please, don't make silly jokes. Don't talk about breaking up, it's not good.
"My wife and I are still good, we are good friends and partners," he said in the session, according to a recent news report.
Nedim added that they had their fights like any other couple but those were just minor ones.
"We have 'manja' quarrels, that's right. Those are small problems, we're okay.
"We are still good. Thank God, I want to take my wife and children out," he said.
Nedim also commented on the allegation that they were currently living separately.
"God willing, there is nothing, we are indeed living separately because our home is still in the process of being renovated," he said during the live session to promote a perfume product.
Nora surprised fans when she admitted that there was trouble in her marriage with Nedim and that they have also been living apart for months.
It is understood that the couple is working on mending their situation for the sake of their children.
Nora was reported to have said that divorce was the last resort.
The two tied the knot on March 30, 2017, and have a son, Mohamed Neqayl, 6.
Before that, Nora was married to Datuk Rizal Ashram or Jejai on June 20, 2006, but they divorced on July 10, 2008.
They have a 15-year-old son, Rayqal.
