KUALA LUMPUR: The music showcase dubbed 'All That Jazz', set to happen this Sunday, is aimed at celebrating established local jazz musicians.

In a news report today, Persatuan Pemuzik Malaysia's deputy president Edwin Nathaniel said that the organisation is collaborating with Menara BAC in Petaling Jaya, Selangor to put up the event that will pay tribute to jazz music in the country.

"After successfully organising the 'Musicians For Musicians' concert last December, we're thrilled to present 'All That Jazz' at Menara BAC's Dewan Horizon.

"As an association that supports Malaysian musicians, we're delighted to feature some of the illustrious musicians and singers who have contributed significantly to the development of this genre in Malaysia," said Nathaniel.

The artistes slated to perform at the event include Michael Veerapen, Zainal Abidin, Jordan Rivers, The Frankie Sixes, Maria Angela Quintet, Sharizan Borhan, and James Boyle.

Meanwhile, Nathaniel added that another music event, 'Unveiling Uniqueness', will be held at the Omnia Auditorium and Dewan Horizon on July 13.

"This event will be a platform for people with disabilities (OKU) to show their musical talent, and to create awareness and inclusiveness in our community."
