KUALA LUMPUR: Spiritual rock singer Ady of 1990s group Wow, 56, tied the knot with his neighbour recently.
Ady said in an interview with Berita Harian Online today that he was however still on great terms with Fadizah Jiran, his former wife from Sabah.
"I seldom talk about my private life but I have been compelled to do so in order to address rumours about my marital status on social media," said Ady who has two children with Fadizah.
Ady, whose best known song is Kau Yang Satu revealed that his new wife is Rozana who hails from Seremban and he had known her for some years.
"We share many things in common and at the same time we are friends with my former wife who has also remarried," said Ady, adding that his former wife's husband is also from Sabah.
"To all fans and friends, let's all pray that my second marriage grows from strength to strength and that Rozana and I be blessed with good health and happiness."
Ady will entertain fans in the charity concert Majlis Makan Malam Kesadaran Amal at the Shah Alam City Council Convention Centre tomorrow.
The five-hour concert which begins at 6pm aims to raise funds for Madrasah Al-Muqwa in Kampung Rantau Panjang, Klang.
Other artistes who will be performing at the concert are Datuk Awie, Ali of XPDC, Ijam of Medicine and Anjang of Terra Rossa.
