KUALA LUMPUR: "I want to help Aman (Graseka). I've tried to contact him, but to no avail," says filmmaker S. Baldev Singh.
Baldev, 61, said this in response to Aman, 55, who was recently believed to have approached some celebrity friends in seeking financial assistance.
He said that he was shocked to hear that Aman could be in such a dire situation, and added that he was willing to assist if only the latter would reach out for help.
"I only knew about this when it became viral on social media. While I may not be able to contribute handouts, I could help him by giving him a job," said Baldev, who admitted that he also did not know if Aman had other problems bugging him.
Meanwhile, Aman did not turn up at the media preview of Baldev's film Jiwa 8 Belas held in Petaling Jaya last week. He was part of the cast of the film shot in 2018.
