KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Aina Abdul, basking in the success of her debut album 'Imaji' and a concert attended by 10,000 devoted fans, is gearing up for greater strides in 2024.

Amid preparations for her upcoming concert at the Theatre at Mediacorp in Singapore on Jan 6, the 30-year-old singer said she will be heading to Jakarta, Indonesia a few days prior to promote her new single titled 'Masih Merintih'.

"This will be my first song which I composed as an original soundtrack (OST) for an Indonesian film titled Trinil," revealed Aina when met at the announcement of the semifinalists for the upcoming Semi Final Muzik Muzik 38 held in Petaling Jaya, Selangor yesterday.

Aina said she was grateful for the opportunity given by the producer who is also from Malaysia.

She added that the single will be released simultaneously with the horror film's premier in Indonesia, which is set for Jan 4.

Besides Aina, another Malaysian who is involved in the production is actor Fattah Amin, who plays the lead role.

Others in the film directed by Hanung Bramantyo include Rangga Nattra, Shalom Razade, Carmela van der Kruk, Alexzander Wlan, Wulan Guritno, and Willem Bevers.
