KUALA LUMPUR: The eldest son of veteran actress Rosnah Mat Aris, Romi Sofha Rastam Shaharom, 50, died at around 1.30pm yesterday after experiencing breathing difficulties.
According to the actress from the movie '3 Janda Melawan Dunia', the late Romi experienced shortness of breath while riding a motorcycle in Kuala Lipis on his way to Cameron Highlands, Pahang.
"I found out about Romi's passing from my youngest child through his motorcycle convoy friends," she said when contacted by Harian Metro.
Rosnah said they have brought Romi's body home to Kampung Puah, Gombak.
"He will be laid to rest at Tanah Perkuburan Islam, Kampung Puah, Gombak, at 9am," she said.
The late Romi, who was also the eldest of four siblings, was Rosnah's child from a previous marriage.
He leaves behind three children.
After her divorce, Rosnah remarried Tajul Efendie Isa, 42 also known as Blue.
