KUALA LUMPUR: Music maestro Datuk M. Nasir is back, and this time he will serenade fans of traditional music in a two-hour concert themed Gendang Pati Datuk M. Nasir on Nov 18.
The 8pm concert will be held at the Plenary Hall of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and is presented by MND Sport & Event Sdn Bhd and produced by Roman Abadi Sdn Bhd.
"It's going to be another magical moment and we are confident that Nasir's fans will be thoroughly entertained with his enchanting tunes," said MND in a statement today.
Nasir said: "This concert is my treat for everyone who loves good music rooted in Malaysian tradition. My team and I promise a showcase rich in drum and percussion tunes."
Nasir will be backed by music director and guitarist Nan Alias, guitarist Rafi Mohamad, bassist Norman, keyboardists Firdaus Mahmud and Eddie of Slam, drummer Ujang of Exists, percussionists Paang, Mat Din, Che Long and Anas, and back-up singers Eja, Widy, Yuaz and Awe.
