KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian model Mogan Murugan has won the second place in the male category of the Best Top Model Of The Universe competition which was held online recently.
According to Remaja.com, Mogan beat contestants from around the world in the competition organised by a model agency in Milan, Italy.
Participants were required to snap their own photographs based on the concepts and themes that were announced by the organiser.
In an IG post yesterday the curly-haired model wrote: "I am very thankful and feel really blessed that special, unique and amazing people in my life have supported me, raised my spirits and brought happiness to my soul."
He added: "I want to again thank all of these people for their continuous support and love."
The top spot for the male category of the competition went to Mvozakhe Mehlomakulu from South Africa. Aside from Mogan, another contestant from Malaysia, Hairul Hellas, managed to grab the fifth position.
Over 450 hopefuls took part in the Best Top Model Of The Universe competition that was organised by the Yarelys International Models.
