KUALA LUMPUR: Military action drama Air Force The Movie: Selagi Bernyawa continues to fly at the Malaysian box office, and has now collected RM30 million in four weeks.

Actor Nas Muammar Zar Nasruddin or Nas-T, who played one of the heroes Kapten Adib Hasyim, announced the good news on his Instagram account yesterday.

He said: "Air Force The Movie: Selagi Bernyawa has raked in RM30 million to date. Thank you so much, Malaysia and Singapore!"

Nas-T also thanked all of his co-stars and directors Zulkarnain Azhar and Frank See for the film's latest achievement.

"For all of you who haven't watched this amazing film yet, please go for it and have a blast!"

Air Force tells the story of members of Malaysia's Air Force Special Unit (Paskau) who are deployed to the fictitious, war-torn Pacific country Namburi to evacuate several Malaysians back home.

The brave soldiers, who include Adib, risk their lives protecting the civilians, as they enter many free-fire zones where snipers, land mines and terrorists pose a clear and present danger.

Air Force, which premiered in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei on Aug 25, also stars Datuk Adi Putra, Aiman Hakim Ridza, Pablo Amirul, Johan As'ari, Anas Ridzuan, Luqman Hafidz, Jack Tan, Carmen Soo and Sara Ali.

The film is presented by the Malaysian Armed Forces, the Royal Malaysian Air Force (TUDM), Multimedia Entertainment, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC), Astro, FXHammer Films and SixFun Media.
