KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Siti Saleha is now divorced with "talak satu" from husband Ahmad Lutfi Azhar at the Klang Lower Syariah Court today.
The divorce utterance was made by Ahmad Lutfi in front of Syariah Judge Mohd Hairuddin Ab Karim at 10.30am.
Earlier, the 31-year-old artiste was seen entering the courts compound at 9am, dressed in black, and blue hijab. She was accompanied by her parents and her legal counsel Azmi Mohd Rais.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Lutfi, who was also dressed in black, was accompanied by two lawyers.
Speaking calmly to reporters after leaving the courtroom, Siti Saleha said: "Our journey as life partners ended today without any drama… we're only meant to share our life together for a short while. It ends here and today."
"There's nothing much for me to add, except to say that we have come to a point where we no longer have the same understanding that would keep us together anymore."
Last October, the actress shocked many when she appeared at the courts for the first mention of her divorce case.
Siti Saleha married Ahmad Lutfi on July 28, 2017. They do not have children.
