KUALA LUMPUR: Popular singer Aishah who celebrated her 57th birthday recently took to Instagram to express her gratitude to her son for his thoughtful gift.
The artiste whose full name is Wan Aishah Wan Ariffin also hinted on the challenges she faced in her spousal relationships.
"I have never lived as a wife that was pampered with gifts," read part of the entry by the mother of two sons.
She added: "For all my life I've been the wife who 'membeli beras' (the responsible partner in a marriage who provides for the family)."
But Aishah expressed her gratitude to have caring offsprings who meant the world to her.
"God has given me thoughtful kids. A belated birthday present from Armand. Makes my eyes water. I am blessed," she said.
The post which was accompanied by a picture of a nice bracelet seemed to touch fans who showed support for the long-standing singer in the comments section.
"Life is certainly not as sweet as a dream. You are a strong and great lady. So God gives us trials that we are able to handle," wrote one individual.
Another said: "May your rainbow appear, stay strong, beautiful and healthy."
Aishah had previously revealed that she and her husband had not been living under the same roof since last August.
The Janji Manismu singer has been married to her fourth husband for the past five years.
