Justin Bieber has come under fire from Muslim Netizens for dancing in a headscarf

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular Canadian singer Justin Bieber has been criticised by Muslim Netizens for dancing in a headscarf during a recent concert.

Bieber recently performed in Utah, the United States and a video of him dancing in what looked like a hijab appeared on YouTube shortly after the concert.

News portal Middle East 24 reported that Bieber came under fire from many Muslim Netizens for donning the headscarf and "making inappropriate dance moves".

The singer who wore a loose T-shirt and white trousers was also criticised by Malaysians on Twitter for not covering his "aurat".

One Netizen wrote that it was all right to wear a hijab but combining it with a short-sleeved shirt was inappropriate.

Another Netizen, identified as Arif, said that he had no objection to Bieber wearing a headscarf but he ought not to dance wildly in it.
