KUALA LUMPUR: As a tribute to the late director Mamat Khalid, Astro is screening 19 of his works on Astro On Demand from now until the end of the month.
Among the films and drama series under the special screening under Mamat Khalid Dalam Kenangan are Hantu Kak Limah, Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah, Episod 10 Journey To Stardom, Klik Rider, and Yang Dulu Bersama Mamat Khalid.
Others are Kampong Pisang Bersiri-Siri, Manap Karaoke, Husin, Mon Dan Jin Pakai Toncet, Rombongan Cik Kiah Ke Kelana Jaya, Rock Oo!: Rimba Bara Kembali, and Rock, Rock Bro!
"Also available are 17 Puasa, 16 Puasa, Amir Dan Lokman Pergi Ke Laut, Kampong Pisang Kita Setandan, Man Laksa, Kala Malam Bulan Mengambang, and Semerah Darah," said Astro in a statement yesterday.
Mamat died following a heart attack early yesterday morning. He was 58.
He is survived by his widow Hasmah Hassan and five children.
