KUALA LUMPUR: Popular TV host and entrepreneur Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor is hopeful the case involving a breach of SOP of the CMCO at a carpet shop in Nilai, Seremban in May will be wrapped up quickly and not drag on.

The 32-year-old artiste said that this would enable her husband Muhammad Haris Mohd Ismail or PU Riz and her to carry on with their daily routine as usual.

"Actually, for this case we've already met with our lawyers several times for discussions and to get a handle on how to solve this issue.

"My husband and I have also left it to the lawyers and hope that it can be concluded quickly and not drag on any longer since we have now returned to normal.

"What more, the situation has returned to its previous state as the government has also opened up many economic sectors," she said in a Harian Metro report yesterday.

The Seremban Magistrate Court in Negri Sembilan yesterday set Dec 1 for re-mention of the case involving the celebrity couple.

It was previously reported that the couple had pleaded not guilty on May 20 to violating Regulation 19 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures Within Infected Local Area) (Conditional Movement Control) (No.4) (Amendment) (No.12) Regulations 2021 which carries a fine not exceeding RM50,000 or imprisonment for up to six months, or both, if found guilty.

Pu Riz, 26 was charged with two counts of failing to comply with the CMCO SOP of failing to wear the face mask and also scan the MySejahtera application or write his name in the registration book to check-in at Kedai Naeem Carpet Sdn Bhd, Kawasan Perindustrian Nilai 3, Nilai, at 4pm on May 2.

Neelofa was charged with failing to scan the MySejahtera application or write her name in the registration book to check-in at the same place and time.
