KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Yasin Sulaiman hopes Netizens will stop fighting on social media with those who refused to be vaccinated.

The 45-year-old artiste said that he was not siding with the anti-vaxxers, adding that it was a matter of people making a choice and practising their basic individual rights.

"There are people within my circle who aren't and don't intend to be vaccinated for various reasons, including their lack of confidence over the safety issue of Covid-19 vaccine.

"For me, it's not even a big issue as about 90 per cent of the population have since been inoculated," said the singer of Mimpi Laila in a news report today.

Yasin admitted that while no one could force anyone to take the vaccine, it would be great if there were more intense public awareness on the importance of protecting oneself and one's loved ones.

Meanwhile, he will be releasing a single titled Vaksin Rindu tomorrow, a project with Amal Relief Malaysia, a non-governmental organisation.
