KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Ezlynn has tied the knot with the country's first liver transplant donor Wan Mohd Hafizam Wan Ismail, 45, on Sept 11.
Being her second marriage, the 39-year-old artiste however said it was never her intention to keep it from the public.
However, Ezlynn said that she wanted her solemnisation ceremony to be a modest affair, witnessed by family members and close friends.
"I think it's better to celebrate it with those who are close to us. That way, we can keep those who have bad intentions away too. We don't know who may not be happy with our union, especially those who aren't really close to us.
"Also, I have no intention of doing a big do, seeing that a full-scale big wedding doesn't guarantee a happy and long-lasting relationship," she said in a news report yesterday.
Ezlynn met Wan Mohd Hafizam who is also a father of three, while working at a non-governmental organisation.
"He was different from other men I knew. I could see how hardworking he is and he is just great at his work," said the singer whose first marriage to her former manager Adam Fahmy ended in 2017.
