Neelofa to assist 70 familiies affected by the pandemic within this week. — Instagram/neelofa

KUALA LUMPUR: Through Pertubuhan Kasih Neelofa, its co-founder Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor hopes to extend aid to those hard-hit by the pandemic.

In a series of Insta-story she shared yesterday, the 32-year-old TV host and entrepreneur said that the foundation was approached by many who needed assistance, especially in terms of food supply and financial.

Neelofa said that while the foundation had previously assisted halfway houses and selected communities, it was now willing to reach out to individuals badly affected too.

"God-willing, we hope to distribute basic food supply and some financial aid to selected families.

"We're currently identifying about 70 households who could really do with some assistance right now," she wrote.

Neelofa also welcomed those who would like to donate monetary aid to contribute towards this programme.
