KUALA LUMPUR: Volunteering his time and energy at a vaccination centre recently has left actor Fizo Omar feeling even more grateful towards medical frontliners.
In a recent video posting on his Instagram, the 35-year-old artiste said he was honoured to take part and become a volunteer at PPV - MIECC, The MINES International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) in Seri Kembangan, Selangor.
"Praise be to God for the first-hand experience watching the frontliners hard at work to ensure all of us get vaccinated.
"Thank you @dr_hannanyusof for inviting me (to join in the volunteer work). I salute you for coming all the way from Kota Baru just to assist me as a volunteer," wrote Fizo in the caption accompanying the video.
Fizo who took time off from his busy schedule to spend a day as a volunteer also called on other medical practitioners including doctors and nurses to head to PPV - MIECC to assist.
His video posting received the thumbs up from his followers and fans with some even suggesting that other artistes should also follow in his footsteps.
