KUALA LUMPUR: Christmas and the New Year were not really as joyous as previous years for Datuk Hans Isaac.

The popular producer and actor would have been set to experience these celebrations with a new wife by his side. Unfortunately, fate was not on his side as his plan to wed ex-beauty queen Gabriella Robinson last July never materialised.

“I was hoping to celebrate with my beloved fiancée but what happened eventually was the opposite. Although I’m obviously saddened, all I can do is to accept the fact of the matter. Luckily, I’m fortunate enough to have family and friends who understand what I’m going through,” said Hans, 46, in a news report by Daily Rojak.

When asked if he had found a new special someone to soothe his aching heart since, Hans said that his focus would now be on his career, while finding a soul mate would be put on the back burner.

“Only my family and friends truly know how heartbroken I’ve been about what has happened. It was really hard to come to terms with but I had to just keep going on with my life. This is also why I want to go on a holiday abroad,” said Hans.

According to the news report, he added: “If possible I don’t want to see anyone or be in Kuala Lumpur at the moment. In terms of looking for a replacement, my heart is currently closed to that.”

If everything goes well, Hans already has plans to fly off to London in April to attend a short theatre course.

“All this time I’ve been thinking about others. I’ve been doing things to satisfy others. I’m tired from just making other people happy, so after this I’ll be travelling to London for a bit,” said Hans.

The Baik Punya Cilok and Nota star revealed that he had a dream of staging a local theatrical production at the prestigious venue of London’s West End one day.

“Maybe taking on this theatre course will give me the insight to carry out a paradigm shift for a local theatre staging which will eventually enable me to realise my big dream,” he said.
