Australian sunscreen label Ultra Violette wants to change the game by making sunscreen with skincare ingredients. Its founders Bec Jefferd and Ava Matthews have had it with "slathering on suffocating, sticky or sting-y SPF products that felt yuck on their faces,"

But the science is clear. Sunscreen is super important in preventing pigmentation and wrinkles, in addition to protection against skin cancer.

So they created their own sunscreen that didn't just promise sun protection, but also looked, felt and acted like your top-shelf skincare.

The brand’s Skinscreen combines the goodness of skincare and sunscreen.

Hence its range of Skinscreen (skincare + sunscreen) was born, dedicated to making SPF the most important bit of your beauty routine, while politely considering your other skincare and make-up products.

"Of all the anti-ageing products available on the market, sunscreen is the single most important one," says Matthews.

"It's about future-proofing your face from the daily toll of UV rays, and having a suite

of products that can be adapted for all occasions," she says.
