Homegrown brand dUCk and global ice cream powerhouse Baskin-Robbins have dropped a crossover collaboration featuring apparel, scarves, ice cream and ice cream cake for Ramadan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
This sweet collection features limited-edition Baskin-Robbins ice cream offerings inspired by dUCk and a limited-edition series of chic and modest dUCk fashion and accessories featuring Baskin-Robbins inspired motifs to get you and your family in the mood for a colourful Hari Raya.
Golden Scoop Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Cheah Jia Ming says Baskin-Robbins is known for introducing unconventional, fun, expressive and innovative flavours.
"So we are excited to collaborate with dUCk which shares the same mission as us in defying stereotypes yet is fun, bringing a modern sense of style into the world of modest fashion," he says. "It is also timely that we introduce this collaboration at a time when our Muslims friends can enjoy Baskin-Robbins ice cream offerings inspired by dUCk as they break their Ramadan fast and during Hari Raya,"
For dUCk, this is the brand's first collaboration this year and co-founder Vivy Yusof says the ice cream brand is her "go-to for every occasion, and it brings smiles to my loved ones and myself,"
"It's another milestone for dUCk-- the first modest fashion brand in the world to collaborate with Baskin-Robbins", she adds.
The ice cream highlight has got to be the More Eh! (a play on the word moreh, a small meal Muslims eat after tarawih prayers) packs, because you don't have to buy a pint of only one flavour. The Party Pack has seven scoops, with one free scoop and the Family Pack has 10 scoops, with two free scoops so you can try new flavours and get old favourites.
Available until May 12, there are also purple ice cream spoons, dUCk cups and a stylish dUCk ice cream cake. And if you buy any four pints of quarts of Baskin-Robbins ice cream, you get a dUCk cooler bag.
As part of the collaboration, dUCk has also launched a series of limited-edition scarves and ready-to-wear designs inspired by popular Baskin-Robbins ice cream flavours-- Baseball Nut, Pralines 'N Cream, Strawberry Cheesecake and Mint Chocolate Chip.
Through an Instagram Live session by social media personality Erin Adlina Adnan, fans were taken through the collection, which include scarves, Mayday foldable tote bags, flare tiered tops and skincare products like the limited-edition dUCk x Baskin-Robbins Body Butter and Body Scrub Set, inspired by popular ice cream flavours like Very Berry Strawberry, Mint Chocolate Chip and Praline 'N Cream.
